Christmas 2008!

Every year I create a handmade Christmas card. This year I wanted to do a “blue” card. I noticed most of my Christmas cards are red and green. AND I have used a Christmas tree for the past three years. I got a lot of fun and wonderful Xmas stamps from Inkadinkado. I tried and tried to make a blue card happen with Inka stamps but…
What can I say? I play and play and experiment until something happens that makes me say YES!. Guess this year “right” is once again a red and green card with a Christmas tree! What’s a creative girl to do!?!
I made about 50 of these handmade cards. It had a LOT of steps. When I was done, I still wanted to play with the Inkdadinkado stamps so I made gift tags too! (next post!)

This summer I am teaching a few classesat Wholly Craft here in Clintonville. Here is the tag inspiration for the class. Later, I am teaching a class in making Japanese paper lanterns.
What have you made this summer? I did manage to get off my bike long enough to make a scrapbook page for Inkadinkado, finished a challenge for The Stamper’s Sampler and made a few cards for family and friends. Wish I had done/made more but summer isn’t over yet!!
Hope you are being creative and amazing this summer!

This card was created using Penscore. This really cool material sold by Ranger can be heated and then pressed into objects. The warm material will take on the impression of the object. The sunflower cards was made by pressing Penscore into Sequin Scrim. What is Sequin scrim? It’s the material left over after sequins are punched out. It can be used to add REALLY cool accents to cards!!
If you want some (it’s hard to find in craft stores!) check out my auctions on Ebay. My seller name is “Stamps3070″ I am selling three feet for 99 cents!!
